Today's Want Me Wednesday pug is from Pug Rescue of North Carolina. Her name is Leah and she is a real cutie pie!! ((She looks a lot like my Dora!)) Here is what their website has to say about her:
Leah is an adult female pug and she around 1 1/2 to 2 yrs. old. Leah was surrendered by her owner's after she was struck by a car. She suffered several injuries that include her front leg and her pelvic bone is broken in three places. Leah must be crated for the next 6 to 8 weeks before she can be adopted out. The vet will need to keep an eye on her leg and wait to see if the nerve damage is going to be cause for removal. At Leah's foster family's house she is becoming more lovable each day and despite all she has been through she has a great spirit. Leah can't wait until her Vet says she can play again. She is wanting to be in a home where she will be kept safe from the street. Leah will be a great addition to a family with two legged children or four legged friends. Leah also wouldn't mind be a spoiled only child.
